Adjust the amount of vodka according to how strong you like your drink.
3 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice - chilled (6 lemons)
1/2 cup vodka
Combine water and sugar in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil, and cook 1 minute.
Remove from heat; let cool. Pour sugar mixture into a pitcher; chill. Add lemon juice and vodka to sugar mixture; stir well. Serve with lemon wedges and ice.
