Guacamole makes a nice accompaniment to fajitas or you can serve it as a dip with chips. Make sure you use ripe avocados, but not ones that have turned too soft. Some people like to leave some of the avocado in small pieces, to make a chunky guacamole.Remember that avocados turn brown when they are exposed to air, so you want to make sure to serve this right away.
1 medium avocado
1/4 cup chopped tomato
1 tablespoon chopped onion
1/2 jalapeno chile pepper
1 teaspoon lime juice
1/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
pinch garlic powder
5 sprigs fresh cilantro
In a medium bowl, mash the avocado; add the chopped onion, tomato and chile. Stir in the next 7 ingredients (lime juice through garlic powder). Mix. Coarsely chop cilantro leaves and add to the avocado mixture.
