Where does it come from?

We use 'MasterCook' software, which is published by Sierra, to determine the nutritional content of all our recipes. This software has a database of over 5,500 ingredients and their respective nutritional value. This database is based on a list published by the USDA. Also, we try to add unusual ingredients to the database as they appear in our recipes.

How accurate is it?

To the best of our knowledge, MasterCook if fairly accurate in computing nutritional content. However, as the manual suggests, there are more sophisticated methods used by nutritionists that yield higher accuracy. However, we feel that the values posted in all our recipes give a good indication on which you can base your daily diet.
